I am sure he kind of knows.... I am being moved but now word is that he is getting promoted and if my boss finally leaves (she is waiting for a clearance) he will become my team lead... and then there is not a chance in hell we would be able to date. I can not date a boss.
However, it is still convinient because workwise he would let me get away with murder (I am very nice and most of my supervisors do let me get away with a lot, I know it is not fair but I am goign to school too... so I can appreciate it LOL). I know he likes me a lot.... I can see it on the way he looks at me... oh so romantic LOL

Yeah, but on the other side, having him as my boss would be super convinient. And my contract is not forever, we can always date after is over, because then I will be moved to another agency.

Ok it's your life but you keep coming up with reasons not to approach him. As a man who was in the "market" in my early 40's I would have like it if a woman would have asked me out. I woulda been nice actually.

Men get rejected too when they ask a woman out. It's not the end of the world. Just move on and make sure it doesn't impact your working environment.

Haha, most women can always tell when we do. We aren't very good at hiding it. That is for the guys who are just waiting for the smallest hint or sign and HAVE the nards to pounce.

Her boss doesn't appear to have those virtues, otherwise he would have asked her out by now. Or perhaps he isn't as interested in her as she thinks.
