We were just watching a show the other day - the Top 100 Hard Rock songs. Guess what was #1? Guns and Roses - Welcome to the Jungle. Not one of my favorites. I'd have picked Walk This Way, or Won't Get Fooled Again.

Go for it! I don't recall there ever being a thread like that. The only thing that would come close was a thread on best guitar solos, but that's something entirely different.

Actually, I'd have to think long and hard to come up with even my favorite Top 10, let alone 100. It changes all the time, too, so that makes it even harder. But rest assured a lot of those groups would be on the list.

Maybe I'll come up with my own list of "Top 13 Stoner Songs"...

There was the great stoner song Inna Gadda Da Vita by Iron Butterfly I used to have a lot of fun with. My girlfriend and I were at this swanky hotel in Las Vegas once and they had this tuxedo guy playing the piano in the middle of the enteranceway to the rooms and stuff. We were going up the escalator and, of course, I had to yell, "HEY, Do you know Inna Gadda Da Vita? (my best friend trying to hide behind me in embarassment) and he actually started playing it.

It became my standard line when ever we would be in a place that had maybe one dude on keyboards or something playing chill music. I could always get them to break rythm and play it.
