Don't know about other guys, by my last girlfriend was this way. She said it was not her responsibly to plan vacations. She said it was my job to plan vacations, and within each vacation day I had to plan out the events from morning to night along with pay for everything.
That's crazy. I definitely would want to be involved in the planning, but if he insisted on paying for everything, I would eventually give in after a few small protests and just let him.

My husband has requested that I do LESS planning on our next vacation. I make all the plans for every vacation - and he always has a great time - but he said that he wants our next vacation to be a bit more relaxing! Oh - and by less planning it doesn't mean he is going to plan it - he just wants to do more "relaxing on the beach" and less "see everything there is to see" kind of stuff. I'm too much of a travel fanatic to let someone else do all the planning!

Women like to sight see, shop, take endless pictures and hunt for entertainment. Men on the other hand like to sleep, rest, read a good book, and of course, have sex.
I've never encountered so many men complaining about women who don't invite men on romantic dates, drive them around, take their coats, lead while dancing, help them across puddles, rescue them from spiders, take them gently in arms and kiss them, and finally kneel to offer men big sparkly engagement rings and have the big day with the groom escorted down the aisle by his mom. And why does only the BRIDE get the fancy outfit? No fair!
I swear the ONLY place I ever hear guys complain about not being treated like a girly girl is on City-Data. And there's a bunch of them!
