It is not true that that will be "all they're after." That is a misnomer. If you are otherwise well-suited to each other, it could be a fine relationship - each party getting their needs met . . . that's what relationships are all about anyway - getting your needs met - so meet some of hers and she'll meet some of yours. But be sure you have other values in common.
Unfortunately, this is the truth. I say unfortunately because I'd rather end up with someone for love but it's not as easy as all that, judging by all the unhappy relationships.

like one guy i know of takes his girl on vacation everywhere. but she makes him get seperate rooms, then usually ditches him while shes out partying everywhere. dudes so desperate for attention he'll still drop cash on her.

I'm sure. Those are pathetic men but the women are despicable for taking advantage of their loneliness. Men do it too, I know. But they're still the exception. Most of them put out something to ensure the money train doesn't move on without them. For those who don't intend to settle down with/marry the people they go with for money, it's just another form of prostitution.
yeah of course a very rich man will be successful with women, but those women will mainly want him for his money, but as long as the man is getting action from those women, he could care less
On this opposite side of the spectrum are broke guys with game. You see many young woman on dating sites that have apparently been used by these guys hence the "No car, no job, no guys from foreign countries, no living with your mom, no me" Titles. Seems like ti mostly young woman who fall for this type of guy. If it's an older woman who falls for it she can't be very bright.
