I grew up thinking a low number for females was a commodity to men, not that I judged other women for having more partners. My biggest concern with friends and family who had a lot of partners was why they were doing it. It seemed that the pleasure was short lived because of their expectations afterwards. So many of them slept with guys thinking it would land them in a relationship.
I have no clue how many partners my husband has had, but he definitely wasn't a "player." I know he slept with at least one woman before me because I'm his second wife.
I can't recall if he's ever asked me how many partners I've had, but he knows it's on the low side. One of the reasons why my numbers are on the low side is because of my height and not-so-good looks. Guys just weren't interested. Believe me...it wasn't from lack of trying!

Thanks but I only post the pics that I think flatter me. The other 99% show what I really look like! But in all honesty, when you're a female that stands 6'1" at 15, none of your classmates are interested in hooking up with you. Heck, I didn't have my first kiss until my freshman year of college, but the guy wouldn't sleep with me! Men!!

My husband doesnt post on here but I know for him, it doesnt matter. When I met him, I did worry about this a little because the number of guys I have slept with is rather high (over 15), all a mix of short term/long term relationships, and a stupid competition I had with a few female friends that rated guys on a scale for bedroom performances.... At the time, I chalked it up to being single and living the carefree 20s but I dont regret any of those experiences because they shaped me into the person I am today, sexually, socially, etc. But every woman has that choice and shouldnt be berated for choosing to either be a virgin until marriage or sleep with 100 men for fun...Thats the fun part of life..
As far as my judging guys who admit their number: if he only had 1 entire partner in his life- I would be a bit concerned..makes me think he really has trouble in the bedroom department or some equipment isnt working right..if he a high number (like more than 30+), I would just want to make sure he doesnt have STDs but I would feel confident he would know how to please me in the bedroom..(a definite plus as knowledge is power, lol).
Most of my guy friends dont care as long as she isnt secretly working as an escort or doesnt have STDs. Women care more about this (see the Anna Faris movie, "Whats Your Number" for evidence) but I feel the concern is misplaced. Frankly I hate the double standard...a guy who sleeps with 50 women is labelled a "smooth operator", a "ladies man", etc but a woman who acts like Samantha from Sex and the City get labelled a w--ore or ****. It pi**es me off.
Exactly woman are labeled while the man is the stud. It's not only not fair but none of anyones business how many men you have slept with. Being honest with your partner is important in todays world of STD's. I myself before I had sex with my husband I asked him to have an aids test and I also had one because I learned that my X was cheating and who knows what I might of caught and out of concern for each other we got tested.
Also like you said experience leads to a much hightened sexual experience between you and your new partner. What it comes does to it's between the both of you as long as your happy with each other choices in life.
This is completely anecdotal, I realize, but I have a friend who once worked at Walmart, and one of his coworkers there would take condom packets out of the box and poke through them with a needle, them put them back in the box. He said he had no idea how many times the guy had done it, but he saw him do it several times and the guy acted like it was a routine thing they did. No idea how true it is, but if that happens very often it's pretty disheartening. This same guy would also throw perfectly good merchandise into the dumpster, then come back late at night and take it home. Sounds like a real prize.
I do believe that is urban legend unless you do not look at the box... there is a seal. Also, the pin holes would show through the thick condom wrapper. And it would take several pin holes, by the way.... You would basically have to butcher the center of that thing.
Now, I have heard of women doing that once the box is at home... lights out type of thing... just to try get pregnant on the sly.
But I think the disgruntled Wal-Mart employee is a tall tale. But I suggest you look at your box to make sure it has not been tampered with.
