While I understand we are talking about 'numbers' one would think that std's would somewhat be in the background.

The thread has turned directly to stds and is way off base by now...

....just sayin.....

No, it doesn't bother me at all when someone I meet likes sex enough to do it often. It is a plus.

Anything used too long and too often has a tendency to stretch out like a good (or bad) pair of old jeans.
IMO, it depends on both package sizes in relation to the other whether #'s matter or not.
I think I'd be more concerned with amount of children.
Satisfaction and fit is more important.

Well someone said that men take the number of past lovers and multiply by three, while women tend to divide by the same amount.

I didn't care about MrsCPG's past. However, it is a question of degrees. I mean there's a difference between getting around some and doing everyone in town, you know? One is just a number. The other is about a lack of discrimination.

Anyone with a brain would care about the number of people their man/woman has slept with. For all you know, they could have a deadly disease so if anything, they should get a complete sexual history report so you'll be at ease before you sleep with them.

I think a lot of men are interested in at least knowing a certain percentage, if not the exact number.

Lol huh? If a woman told me she slept with 13% of the guys in LA county, that would make me feel way worse, than if she just said 20.

Besides, women evaluate men on how much money and resources they have so men theoretically could pull the same argument, in that, it's nobody's business how much money we make being that we are all adults and have the ability to take care of ourselves.
Really? And if a guy has been spreading his seed to and fro, a women shouldn't be concerned about the possibility of a bunch of paternity suits coming along and decreasing the household income?!

So if she did sleep with 13% of the guys in LA county, you still want her to say it was only 20?
