OP do something unexpectedly romantic for your wife tonight. Flowers or a nice surprise dinner out or a walk on the beach something like that. It will make her more receptive than your "body shape" deflection.
I'll second that but add to say NOTHING about sex or anything. Do it "just because". Then see how she reacts.
I think about a lot of weird **** lately, trying to fix my nearly-sexless marriage and all.
So, men, women, everyone. Do you think a woman's body type has any connection to her libido??
I tend to be attracted to the curvier women, big hips, big butt etc. but it seems they have lower libidos. My wife fits this type.
It also seems that the women I have been with who have higher sex drives are usually the thin, athletic, or almost a bit boyish in build, smaller boobs, smaller hips.
It doesnt seem to be a weight thing, more a body type, bone structure thing.
Am I just nuts or is there a connection?

A woman who is fit and cares to be in shape will naturally have a good sex drive. Plus she is likely to be proud of her body.
More out of shape people tend to be lethargic.
Pear-shaped/wide-hipped, average-to-high libido, always higher when I'm consistently working out...during winter when my walks/runs are shorter, less active libido.
In a number of empirical studies, waist to hip ratio has been found to be a predictor of age at sex debut and number of sex partners in many studies, with "boyish" ratios scoring the highest.
I think it has less to do with body type and more to do with confidence, as ha been stated by others. My wife's libido comes and goes, and it can be tied to anything from success at the gym to a good day for her newly launched business. This cycle in some shape or form has existed in most other relationships I've been in and this includes a wide range of body types.
My wife is pear-shaped. She has a big butt, big boobs, and a soft belly. We don't have sex every night, but when we do it is always MIND BLOWING. I compared it to driving a vintage muscle car in a recent thread:
I just briefly read another thread of yours. Are you sure your wife isn't A sexual? I mean never had an O by the time she was 29??!! Not even by her owe doing? Does she masterbate?
Of course there's a connection. Their body type affects my libido. I don't know if theirs affects theirs!
