I am 42 and I am rejected by 35+ women as being too young! I almost have to show I.D. MY mother is 60 and people think we are brother and sister, she really looks young. I am not in the least interested in young
women, now what am I supposed to do?

Internet dating.
I know a couple of guys like this. They have to sometimes work hard to not get brushed aside in their professional lives, as well.

Bear in mind that some of the women you're passing up because they're "too young" are your age, and in the same boat. You never know about people until you get to know them. Appearances don't mean much.

I believe posting a pic should be a requirement of everyone who says they look much younger than they are. I would bet it is true 1 out of 10 times.

I'll humor you guys, I added a pic in my profile from around January or February. If you guys think I look my age, you'll be the first.

Jade I feel ya. I was swimming with my son over the summer at my grandfathers fancy homes for the elderly, when an older woman yelled at me and said,"Excuse me children you have to have an adult in this pool with you."

I know I am short, 5'2 but I'm 35!

And fyi- I'd go out with a 30 year old? What's a few years?

I think that 30 is the limit. Maybe 29. But it seems like the under 30s are a little too immature on the whole. But one of my best friends is married to a 28 year old....(she is 34). It is the 25 year olds that are the real problem!

It happens to me all the time. I'm almost 23 and one of my stepmom's friends thought I was still in high school.
The only time it bothers me is when high school dudes try to talk to me. Not tryin to do jail time. lol

lol Doing my job I'm quite fit and not even slightly fat. Combine this with some ***** in me that is probably the reason why I haven't had any receding hairline and at 50 this makes me stand out like a sore thumb in groups of people my age. Except now its all good unlike when I was your age and it could be annoying in some situations. So a small comfort but I think you will find that as you ease into your middle years you will no longer be unhappy with the situation.
