there must be a way to make some improvements and be more more desirable. (apart from surgery)

nothing wrong with wanting to improve and make an effort.

go to the gym?
eat better food?
expensive clothes?

what would help?

post some ideas

In a word, confidence. This doesn't mean walking around like you're hot ****. Rather, think about how you feel after something really good happens to you - like a promotion, good grade, getting a compliment, etc. Immediately after receiving whatever the positive is, a person tends to walk a little taller and have a bit of radiance. That's what confidence is.

And, in my personal opinion, it matters naught how expensive your clothes are, just that you put in some effort to not look slovenly. One can be stylish without breaking the bank. I find myself paying a bit more positive attention to men who can dress themselves well (unfortunately, not enough around these parts); probably because it's so rare.

I would say dressing really well is more important than going to the gym in women's eyes. If you have a great suit and are well groomed, you gain a bunch of 'points' in women's eyes.

Also, here's what i notice that ugly men do that's kind of a no no....they seem to go really 'hard core' at the gym and make themselves too buffed out. In other words, they overcompensate. No need to acquire really huge bodybuilder muscles, you just need some muscle tone, a 6 pack and a nice physique....many women are 'turned off' by the extreme workout guy, you just have to look fit, there's no need to overdo it.

I think this thread will harken back to the "women aren't attracted to men" thread.

Take a nice bodied gal, give her really nice hair, and throw her on the street with some CLASSY sexy clothes, maybe a nice DKNY top and tight Guess jeans and lots of guys will stare without even having seen her face. HAIR and BODY means so much for women.

I always get compliments on my hair. Stylists always tell me other guys would "kill for my hair". Everyone has told me I have nice hair. I also have a nice body. People have told me that. Although I haven't been going to the gym lately.

I dress well: DKNY, Diesel, Club Monaco, some vintage clothes thrown in.

I get no attention from women and face rejection all the time.

You might try letting a few hundred dolar bills peak out of the top of your shirt pocket...

A paper bag on your head?

Use common sense. Of course the gym and diet can help if you need to gain or lose. New clothes can help if you currently dress like a slob. Improve whatever needs improving.

I would say"

- get stylish haircut
- eat healthy foods and drink lots of water, because it does wonders for your complexion.
- exercise to lose weight and be in a healthy weight range for your frame/age/height. Being buff/ripped is not necessary.
- dress nicely in fitted clothing. Nice does not = expensive.
- carry yourself well, upright, shoulders back, head up, make eye contact and smile, not hunched over/inward and looking at the ground.
-walk with purpose, not shuffle along dragging your feet

If you look at this list, none of it is expensive, and these are all things you should want to do for yourself, not simply to attract others
