Another question about how this mandatory paternity testing would work. Would all potential fathers be forced to give a DNA sample? The mother and baby wouldn't have a choice in the matter - but it seems to me that the fathers would. Would the DNA from the family be entered into a database? Would the DNA be accessible by the police? Other hospitals? Or would it be kept completely separate?
Well correct me if Im wrong, but in most states a man must sign the birth certificate to be presumed father and held accountable for any future child support. So if you are not married and have doubts dont sign the birth certificate and go ahead and get a DNA test. If you dont sign and the mother files claims for CS she will have to prove you the biological father. As far as married men, really how many husbands have unknowingly raised a child not theirs. A few. And they probably have suspisions their wife was cheating. Then get a DNA test and file for divorce right there in the delivery room and go on your jolly way. You still have to pay support according to the law. Dont like that law, change it.
Most men are made to believe she's always telling the truth and many deceitful women are great actresses that accomplish that so well they may as well be candidates for the academy award.
Additional edit: Here's a "law" to those deceitful women = STOP being selfish, a liar and being deceitful. Simple!

So I guess it's okay then for men who are not biological fathers thinking they are to pay for many years and worse yet get attached to the child(ren) from deceit and lies by their mother while the real biological father(s) get off free.
By mandating all women have to go through this, and pay for it, don't you think that is shaming in itself.
Why should a woman who hasn't been with another man in years maybe even a decade be forced to pay for an unnecessary test. You want it, you pay for it.

Do you think women when they find out they are pregnant will say up front that there is a chance this baby is not yours, risking their marriage and the stability for that child and any other prior children or risk being beaten or killed. Or hope its never found out. Do you believe men rush home to their wife and proclaim he may have impregnated someone he had an affair with?
Do you also hate worngful selfish mens actions who willfully keep the fact from their wife that they fathered children with other women? This actually has happened alot.
Is it so horrible to be happy getting attached to a child and raising it. Is it a such a loss of your life those years of being a father.
Insurance companies aren't going to willingly be mandated to pay for such a cost.

The money they would make from excluding coverage for the very few children that turned out not to be a man's biological child would not offset the fortune they would be spending on doing the tests in the first place.

Can you stop all the serial murderers out there? Can you stop all the rapists? Can you stop all the pedophiles? Can you stop all the men who steal, lie, cheat, abuse, kill, etc - simply because you are the same sex as them?
