OP: If you want to call any shots regarding this woman's life, you need to put a ring on her finger... otherwise you are being unreasonable. You've been with her for years and still cannot commit? Commit and enjoy some semblance of influence, or continue to not commit and see your concerns become justified as other men will see her rightly so as single (at least until she tells them otherwise). In any case, who are you to tell her she cannot go to a party she wants to go to? Trust her or don't trust her... but in either case, she has the right to go to a party with her friends if she wants to.
