YOu must be far enough behind with the Doctor that you've missed the whole awful River Song conclusion. I've only watched the reboot Doctor, but that almost ruined it for me.

I think you've gotten good enough advice on where to meet women who like nerdy guys, I think your problem would be getting yourself out there and actually speaking to these women.
