While we are on the subject of the use of the word "bro" can I ask when did it become okay to spell it "brah?" I see this more and more and I just don't get it. At the risk of sounding judgmental, I've notice those who use it present themselves as grade-A meatheads. Can someone explain?

They are meatheads. I've come up with simple formula that should explain it for you though:
When a woman refers to a male friend as her "bro" or "big bro", there's a good chance they've slept together. The term "bro" is a cover for a FWB relationship because women don't want others knowing they're sleeping around. That word makes it appear plutonic. I know this because I've had a number of women refer to me that way publicly -- yet behind closed doors we've done it all.
So never trust a woman you're dating when she refers to her male friend as her big bro. And beware the woman with many bros.
Class dismissed.
That's a lie. My friend refers to me as bro all the time and there is absolutely NOTHING sexual between us.
Or it means he's really far in the friend zone and she "sees him like a brother"
Don't know too many people that sleep with their brothers
