Not according to the Clintonian definition of sex.

I find this less a question of future sexual compatability and more a question of "Why don't you want to engage in something fun/pleasurable with someone you care about and have a relationship with?"

Personally, I see no virture in virginity and no shame in sex outside a legally-sanctioned relationship. Hence, I would be fundamentally incompatible with someone who did.

Never. Sexual compatibility is HUGE. And since most reasons for abstinence are based on religious beliefs, my preference for an atheist/agnostic partner would rule out a relationship with such a person in the first place.

Well said, they're both big issues to me, so it would be a double negative.

More important than the issue of waiting is this: the best matches are made by people who have the same priorities in a relationship, be it sex or walking the dog.

No, I don't think that it is sex--after all, there is no penetration involved there at all.

Don't worry--I plan on eventually having sex in due time.

Would anyone buy a car without taking it for a test drive? I need to kick the wheels and open it up before I consider buying it.

I bought my car without test driving it, so that's my answer to this thread.
