You kidding me? I'm 23, marriage doesn't even exist in my mind.

Thanks for the entertaining topic and being a good sport about our less than sympathetic responses.

Well, you just won our Wuss-Of-The-Month award. And you don't sound too sure about the "case closed" part.

This isn't such a bad idea.

So because a woman asks someone out, the man has to say yes? Maybe he's not interested. Shocking I know.

We are not talking about "someone," we are talking about the OP and his specific story. No need to extrapolate to the general population. This was not just any woman--he found her beautiful and smart.

We know, you turned down your Hooters girl at first because you were scared of her. But you eventually gave her a chance. And now your every post finds a reason to mention that you have a girlfriend.

Why don't you share your sage advice instead?

Fair enough. Underneath it all, I'm still inexperienced when it comes to women. I have a lot to learn.

Whatever the male version of a cat lady is... that is your destiny.

This is the kind of dismissal one expects to hear from cat ladies and/or their male counterparts. And it rings hollow from someone who is acutely paranoid about rejection from the opposite sex.
