He tests at home when I ask him to but he is not real good about it when he is not home or if I don't ask.
I get quite frustrated with him over this whole issue and it makes him cranky but he gets over it and complies and we move on and I feed him accordingly.
He isn't on insulin I assume?

No insulin but he has other medication that he takes (in theory)
