Plus, if you're out with one of these female friends her presence is definitely a cockblock - if you're looking to get laid.

As far as flirting with women at work, sure, I've done it sometimes - but it doesn't mean anything. There are some women I work with I'd like to screw, but haven't because I don't $##@ where I eat.
My best friend is a woman I've known since we were kids. I'll admit there is some attraction between us two but we don't want to mess up our friendship.

I feel bad for men and women who have to put up with all the bull**** of friendzone.
I mean there's plenty of fish out there definitely but no one should put up with someone's BS of being friendzoned and then expecting a different outcome of it.
I agree with what that poster said.

I believe the friendzone is just nonsense. It's not a real concept. For those who do believe in it, I think it hinders more than helps. I think what that poster was trying to imply is that people shouldn't worry so much about getting into a relationship. It's something that just happens naturally.

Strongly disagree with this. The "Friendzone" is real for guys that let themselves be pulled into this. But, of course, the guys have no one to blame but themselves for pursuing a woman who has no sexual interest in them, but sees them more like a brother, girlfriend, etc.

Also, the problem I see here is that these guys who let women walk all over them to feed the women's egos by just being "friends" will continue to let women take advantage of them in other ways.

A guy over 16 years old should never allow himself to be placed in a "friendzone".
You should know better as an adult.

Thinking of yourself as a sweetheart might have something to do with it.

I feel like those who refuse to accept that the friend zone is real are just denying that semi to fully attractive women use men.

Say what you want. However, if you're spending time with & hanging out with a woman whom you want to sleep with & whom you're not sleeping with, the joke's on you. You're wasting your time. More power to you, however, if you want to put up with this type of thing.

But not all attractive women use men, and they can only use men who allow themselves to be used. If a dude is helping her move and driving her to the airport and being a shoulder to cry on all the while hoping that she'll realize what a great guy he is, that's mostly on him.
