I live in the South East as well, it's "quiet" as of right now, but it's probably going to get pretty windy later on tonight.

I think a lot of people are freaking out because of a flood that took place over 10 years ago. Power was out and there was no working water for weeks. I was too young too remember though. My college campus is closed on Monday and Tuesday. I don't think it will be that bad, but who knows.

Yep, cameras are ubiquitous these days, have to be careful when one wants to get their loot on.

Update 5 days after almost direct hit by Irma

Winds were reported at 135 peak.Lots of windows so did get to watch.
My manufactured community very hard hit, still without power or water.
Homes maybe 1/3 each 'not too bad' to savable to destroyed.
I'm still with friends with part time generator use ( gas so very hard to get, lines up to a mile long , better today)Very few places to get groceries and ALL other businesses in this section still closed.
Every day gets a little better.
Got internet back yesterday then my computer decided to die...on a new one now.
That's it for now.
