My mom stayed with my dad for 17 years. She left when I was 13. So I endured 13 years of seeing their bad relationship and then had to endure their divorce. At the time, I was happy they divorced so I didn't have to hear them fight anymore. I am now 27 years old and horrible at relationships myself, which probably comes from growing up in an unhappy house. I am so afraid I am going to end up like them and I refuse to put a child though that. People need to think a little harder before they decide to reproduce.

The reason you are horrible at relationships is not because of your parents, it is because you do nothing to change your behaviors that can contribute to good relationships. For example learning and using good relationship and social skills as well as problem solving skills and reasoning skills. That is what relationships are about....I'm just so tired of reading these sad sack posts. If you don't know how then learn, it is that simple and easy.

Evolve? Learn from past mistakes, even better to learn from others mistakes, and become better.

In her case, she will do what makes her happy untill she gets hurt. Then we'll see her here say'n how the love of her life banged a chic and doesn't know why. I'd laugh my @ss off!

Good post Art, you ol' POS!

Cave Man,

You are saying this person is beyond learning? That she cannot learn? Is that your point? Be direct.

Arts guy....I think cave dude is saying that some ppl just simply have to learn the hard way....be it that they are hard headed, ignorat whatever.....some ppl just have to learn hands on.

Cave dude.....I see what arts guy is saying too.......learn by others mistakes..... That would be utopian but its' not always how it works out
