Why do so many of you think there is this secret formula to picking up women? You want to increase your chances of meeting someone, get out and develop a healthy social life. Have something to talk about (you need to get out from behind the computer or video games first), have some manners, practice good hygiene and smile. There's no big secret. All these "how to meet women" tactics are about as affective as the fad diets. No matter how many issues of Maxim or Playboy you read it isn't going to make you a ladies man. All the "ignore her" or "don't call her for X amount of days" advice isn't going to give you the upper hand or allow you to snap your fingers and have women flock to you like The Fonz. Just like watching all the porn in the world will not make you a better lover, taking dating tips from anonymous 15 year olds on the internet will most likely lead to another Saturday night spent playing with your PS3 and/or yourself. If you are going to insist on being a jerk with women, I advise you to stock up on your favorite hand lotion and porn, because you're going to be humping your fist for a long time.

I dont put any stock into what this original poster writes. You cant study any techniques to become a jerk especially you because you seem to already conduct yourself like a smart-ass jerk just fine. I agree with this statement...theres nothing more hotter than to see a man that knows he hes confident and he can back it up with ex..his intelligence...position, etc....major turn on!

Thing is, in the venues he's doing, and the women he's after. It won't be him spankin' the monkey saturday nights if he gets it down. Sad but true.
There will always be women desperate enough in these pools assuming there's a decent f/m ratio where he is that this will work quite often to at least get sack time. Which is all he's after.
It's like the flashy guy for a corporate deal maker, probably doesn't have much of an education, not very intelligent to start, but faking the rest by being as personable as possible gets it done. Sad? Unfair? Douchery? Yep, but.. "Gentleman" tend to get left-overs from the fallout of this.

Yes, but in this venue we're not usually talking about you or anyone else here, but people don't like to be alone. IMO women on average far less so, the "monkey bars" style of g/f doesn't happen nearly as often. None of the few vids I've seen do these more material possession angles anyhow, it's about playing the bold, confident, slightly flippant angles, with a decent sense of style, both in dress and slight-of-hand changes of focus.
They're not saying why don't you jump in my Ferrari, so we can use my yacht tonight. It's just maneuvering to be viewed as above average and worthwhile by use of more deceptive mechanisms, and douchery.
The one thing I won't go with in the example I saw was him being "average". He had above average height, build, not exceptional (although I might not be a great judge for this), but this isn't going to work as often the further down the age/looks pole you travel.

Men like *******. They don't want a nice girl. They think they are getting someone lesser if the woman is nice.
They think if the woman is a b|tch, she is worth more, so they go with it.
Men don't want a nice woman with values. They don't even care if a woman can carry a conversation or has interests.
The point you are missing is that this type of guy just assumes that women cannot hold a conversation that would interest him. For the most part, given his narrow interests and limited intelligence, he's absolutely correct.
Sex is what he wants and this type of woman offers him the level of "quality" he desires.
