If a super gal came along I wouldn't exclude her based upon something like that...as long as it didn't hold her back from living an active lifestyle etc.
While I would stick with a sick spouse, I'm not (emotionally) prepared to take on a "project" at this point in my life.
I wouldn't have a problem with it, assuming he had other, more important qualities, such as a good personality and sense of humor.
If it were a leg, think of the great parking spots one could get.
If I met a guy with all those qualities you mentioned and I liked him but he had only 1 arm or a prosthetic leg I would absolutely date him. If you really like someone you see past stuff like that.
On the other hand, I can't say for sure if I would deal with someone confined to a wheelchair. As awful as it sounds, I don't think I could deal with it. (Unless of course we were already married when the accident happened)
My answer is absolutely yes. Over many years I've dated a few men missing some parts - one with one arm, another with one leg, another missing half of one finger and another who lost a testicle in an accident. Personalities always turned me on over physical attributes although I never liked extremely thin or very overweight men or overly hairy men or men with bad teeth - or brainless twits!
I guess there is no such thing as a perfect match.
