Did you know that most men stay in a marriage until the kids turn 18 and then bail, thus springing the suprise he's had a plan with after all those years and years she invested and he never says squat for 10 years,
i think divorce leaves deep and non removable scars on both parties.
but the the temptation that the law affords dumping an unwanted spouse and getting some operating cash to start a new life is an overwhelming temptation. it also feels kinda good to slap the old man around with a lawyer for once in your life. revenge is sweet but short lived.
usually it requires digging 2 graves.

It's not a crock especially in the example you gave.
Child......ooooooops I mean Mommy support payments awarded is no 2 cents per month.
Also do you know that females plan their divorce years ahead without the husband even suspecting so till he gets hit with it ON HER WHIM.
That supports the idea that if they (men) had shared custody they wouldn't hang in wasting time. Both parties could move on to happier times with other people!
Not necessarily true. Most do it as security for the child's well-being psychologically. No sense putting them in a painful divorce situation, so they wait it out.

It's too easy for the courts to keep it status quo - it's less of a headache and makes them $$$.
Doing what things, specifically? And who is she? Can you please tell me who she is for once. Pick a person in your life, in this thread or this forum so I know what you're talking about. Let it be someone you actually have some kind of communication with.
What? You want the identity of these females? Stories?
Ohhhhh Goodness! It would be rated X and not C-D material.

Sure is a crock. Do you know how many men beat the hell out of their wives and other reasons besides children and money.
Census Statistics cite the following as primary reasons:
Even though money may seem like the primary reason for divorce, it often merely conceals more deeply rooted personal issues that may actually be reasons for divorce. Finances and owned objects are tangible. At times, it can just be easier to project abstract emotional issues onto what’s concrete, and blame that as a reason for divorce. If you're struggling in your marriage ostensibly because of financial problems, it's recommend that you carefully consider whether there's a larger problem at play. For many couples, the true reason for divorce may not be money styles at all.
It's an inability to put your differences and disagreements aside in the interest of preserving the relationship.
That's never really affected me. I don't care what beliefs my partner holds, as long as I'm not being forced to share those views. I can put the fact that we view things differently aside in the interest of maintaining the relationship. So...why can't they?
No one is disputing that women sometimes are the primary problem and not just the man. But, njguy isn't even 90-10 about it - it's all or nothing 100% his reason and his reason only, when there are a number of reasons why these things occur. And I can cite statistic after statistic but if he chooses to believe it is only 100 percent how he views it from afar there's no discussing the issue - just bickering and arguing that goes no where.
