I have better things to do than learning how to cook. Microwave works fine, for now. If I have another girlfriend, that will be her problem. I'm sure she won't want to eat my cooking, so if she wants to cook up some food for us, I'll let her.

TK, it's not that simple - some of it HAS to be spent for the benefit of the custodial parent because what benefits the parent also benefits the child.
Things like housing, utilities, even a home computer. Child support should not, and rarely does, pay the entire amounts of those items - it simply goes toward the childs portion of the expense of those items.
Hence the other thread--parents should either stay together, or the issue should be killed out of hand so that he or she doesn't suffer for the event...and contribute to a future criminal element.
The other parent is responsible for those items, whether he/she does it via welfare or she finds herself a sugar mama/
daddy.
Of course, a guy SHOULD have a job, and work for a living.
