Yesterday, to very stunning looking women walked in, they looked to be in their (HOT) 40's.

All of a sudden one of my coworkers, a 50 year old man, started acting goofy as hell when the ladies started to talk to us about where they were from and the reasons for donating the food.

I was becoming boiling hot inside. I said to myself, "what is it about attractive women that causes A LOT of guys to totally lose their composer?" Sure, I admit the ladies were very sharp and had a look of refinement, they exuded great taste in their attire.

But, never in my adult years(25 and over) have I acted like a total child in front of women, specifically attractive women, like I see so many guys do.

Do they know that, that is rarely if ever attractive to women? I guess not.

Ladies and Gents on CD.........let's get this started. What is the problem with so many guys that behave like that?

Hi Ron

Beautiful women make men stupid.
Of course women are not attracted to it. It means they are rarely in the presence of beautiful women and are therefore relative subordinates aka "losers".

Just act like a super model photographer and take note they are not super models.

Hi MsRiss7383,

Just assume they have needed to go to the clinic several times because the cuties usually pick something up since everyone wants a poke at them. Its probably true so use it. It works great for me. A lot of them are idiots as well. What are the odds that they keep dinging that far right of the bell curve?

I used to own a business where several of our managers hired stunning women in sales. They called on mostly all male body shops and car dealers and we had quite a few calls asking us not to send the women back to their shops.

While they sold a lot of our product, It seemed they were natural flirts and disrupted the all male workforce. Apparently when they left the shops the men were totally distracted and useless for the rest of the day.

So while you can recommend men stop acting silly, human nature says it ain't going to happen anytime soon.

Money, power and beauty intimidates most people.

The problem is the men I find attractive aren't necessarily conventionally attractive. They can be chubby, average looking, older etc. I hope they just take my blubbering as a compliment and don't think I'm an idiot!

Something like that happened to me (a long time ago), almost got fired but I was no flirt. It was mostly men, the only other women working there were mannish so I was it. Boss said I was disrupting the work environment, but couldn't tell me what I was doing wrong (nothing). He forbade me from socializing with the guys at all, so I was isolated. One of the mannish women would "tell" if it seemed I was talking or joking with any man.

These days it would be sexual harrassment to point to a woman's appearance and threaten or change their job or treat them differently because of it. It's not her fault the guys can't control themselves.

That's awful. I work in HR and we wouldn't let that happen today fortunately. Or at least nowhere I've ever worked.

Hi MsRiss,

They don't think you are an idiot but may see you as a potential hookup. When women act "submissive", it means you like the man. Men find that attractive because its a primitive sense that one has a potential mate.

When men do it, women despise it as weakness generally speaking.

Hi tamajane,

Are you sure the "Boss" didn't have a thing for you?

Either way, it's still sexual harassment and unacceptable.

Hi MsRiss,

Oh I agree. I am thinking a slimy weasel of a boss.
