It is so annoying to get a message and go in to open up their profile only to see no Photo. If people can't show who they are because of certain jobs then they shouldn't be on there. I don't pay money to get messages from a person with no picture.
A Dating profile without a picture is a Resume without a Name and Address. Why be on the site if people can't see who you are?
Guess you've never run across someone who used a photo from 10 years and 50 pounds ago, or, even better, her daughter.

Do you have one or more pictures on your profile?
Did you fill in your profile as completely as possible, including an essay?
He already told us that he asks about their feet. Instead of a kiss goodnight he probably asks women to walk on him and then he gets a foot planted in a sensitive area.
Let's face it, TVSG...you're taking a risk either way - pics or no pics. If they have pics, there's no way for you to know with 100% certainty that it's even them, right? And for all you know, that girl without the pic could be the most drop-dead, gorgeous woman you've ever seen in your life.
My suggestions:
--Come up with a concept for your picture-only dating site and pitch it to an entrepreneur.
--If it bothers you that much, don't use dating sites.
--Get over it
Some gals get spammed with "I want you baby" crap from guys wayy too young or old....or that are married....or that they went on one date with and are now stalked by.
I know two gals IRL that had to change her profile name and pull her pic and change her age by a year because of stalker(s).
So, you talk with them a bit and if you click then they can just send you a pic later privately.
Nothing wrong with it and after you have been around the dating scene a bit you will learn exactly why some gals choose to or are forced to do this.
Yep that has been my friend's experience and she even has in her profile that if she decides to communicate with you, she'll send you a pic.

What's the difference? You're saying dating sites shouldn't allow profiles without pics yet you use Craigslist for dating but don't want to post a pic? You're contradicting yourself. And not trying to be mean but it seems the guys who aren't really attractive are the main ones who are adamant about a woman having pics up.

Defiantly not true. My friend is a very attractive lady and she started out with having a pic posted and her inbox was flooded with messages from creeps everyday and it became to much. She's not interested in being someone's eye candy which is why she's doing the on-line thing because most the men she attract in the real world only see that she's beautiful and that's not what she wants. Now that she doesn't have a pic posted she still gets messages but the difference is, these guys are really looking for someone to connect with and not trolling the profiles for hotties.
