I will praise God in good times as well as bad times. And I have. In times of job loss, sickness, etc.

I praise God because he's worthy, not because he gives me good stuff.

I realize it doesn't fit your agenda.

Respect is in the eye of the beholder.

No. Calling God childish names is offensive. I'd gladly discuss any issue you have but please show some respect.

Well, even though the article is offensive, I read the second point about turning Lot's wife into salt.

The author of the article got it wrong.

The articles says, " Nor was Lot's family warned about looking back. " Uh, yes they were.

Quote:
5 With the coming of dawn, the angels urged Lot, saying, “Hurry! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or you will be swept away when the city is punished.”

16 When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the Lord was merciful to them. 17 As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, “Flee for your lives! Don’t look back, and don’t stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!”

Dismissing other people's religious beliefs (or lack thereof) is equally childish and offensive.

Either way, it's a dumb story.
