So, murder and rape pull the sin scale down to the same level as masturbation and two people of the same gender loving each other?

The god that equates those activities is insane.

Its followers are...well, since rude truths are frowned upon here...let's call them "unfortunately mistaken."

Wrong, but facts to seem to give theists a great deal of trouble. Rights that gay's do NOT have! Making such willfully ignorant statements as above makes one appear to be horribly ill informed, or simply blinded by the ignorant teachings and learned hate of religion.

No they don't. We've already been over this, and the wreckage of that argument is still smoldering.

Sure, that's easy to say, isn't it. But when it comes time to put those words into action, well ... suddenly we have a dilemma. Because Christians simply can't answer why they have no problems allowing adulterers to enjoy marriage - even 2nd and 3rd marriages. Or why Christians have no issues allowing spousal abusers to get married and stay married and keep on marrying - or even people who have murdered their spouse, no problem, you can even get married while serving your sentence!

But homosexual marriage - no way! So while Christians talk a good game about all sins being equal, that obviously isn't true. Not in deed, at any rate. Why is there not a massive national, well-funded campaign to strip adulterers of their right to remarry? Why not?

Except no one can really explain how it is destructive. The only thing made mention here is the disease factor, but I see heteros dealing with disease, too. And hey, maybe if gays could get married, there would be somewhat less sleeping around!

So gays may as well go out and murder, too, because it's all the same.

What does that mean?
A lot of people don't realize that Jews weren't the only people put into concentration camps. A lot of other types of people were, as well.

Gays were one such group that was systematically exterminated via Nazi policies. They had to wear pink triangles to signify that they were gay in the same way Jews had to wear stars of David.

No one here is making direct comparisons to Hitler, per se, but a lot of people don't want religion, using the state as a proxy, telling us what we can and can't do.

Actually, fascism tends to result in thought control. You don't dare to speak out against the ruling class, or you will be beaten down. We've seen that in recent months when people dare to suggest homosexuality isn't good or healthy.

How is homosexuality effecting your ability to be good or healthy?

Thought control? You believe people have the power to exert thought control? (The "beating down" belief is just the martyr syndrome that is much beloved by some conservative Christians. "We're not getting our way!!!!! They're beating us down!!!''' Meanwhile most gays can tell horrific stories of actual beat downs but who cares about them? When's the last time someone beat the crap out of you for being a Christian?)

Meanwhile... Insert spooky supernatural background music here. Because that's pretty much the only way someone could have control over another person's thoughts.
