There is no Theory of Evolution and probably never has been from the time man first learned how to write.
Evolution is a fact, but it is not what some people think.
Evolution poses no more threat to Creation beliefs or theism, than the Geometric fact that a square has 4 equal sides and angles.
If the visible fact of evolution threatens a person's religious beliefs, it may be time to examine those beliefs.
Next some one is going to Say Brussels sprouts don't exist, because the parent plant of all our Brussels Sprouts was a cabbage plant in Brussels, Belgium,, whose off spring decided not to be cabbage any more.
I guess Mules don't exist either, because there are no Father Mules or Mother Mules. Yet we end up with an animal that is neither horse nor donkey but it's ancestors were.
Less than 100 years ago you would not have been able to slice a "Big Boy" Tomato as they did not exist until 1949

Evolution states that all living creatures have a common ancestor: source:
Strange Science: What is Evolution?
The bible does not show all living creatures share a common ancestor. Each animal and each human was created by God. The Bible doesn't show God creating a couple of single celled amoebas and letting them do their thing as He sat back and twiddled His thumbs just waiting and waiting for man to finally appear.
