The world wouldn't care about my preferences either. That's why I'd never create a stupid thread about me

And yet your posts are about you and your viewpoints.

I already discussed that in #357. This isn't about posts and general comments; this is about thread initiation and self-focus.

Well, you don't get to decide where a discussion goes. And after all, your current little group of posts are not what the topic of the thread was EITHER.

You seem unable to understand the very simple point that I have to keep clarifying. This isn't about comments on threads, or "where the discussions go".

This is only about thread initiation. That means: creating a thread / starting it / pushing it into being, and with the focus shining on the OP. "Why I lost my Christian Faith", "Why I don't believe Earth Exists", "Why I Wore My Underwear Inside Out Today"; it's all the same narcissistic and trivial focus.

Just stupid threads about others, huh?

No. I don't agree with you, as I have stated, and I don't agree with you trying to dictate the direction the thread goes in.

The OP was expressing his viewpoint, and anyone should be able to see that he expected feedback on his viewpoint. That's what these threads are often about...one person's opinion generating other opinions on the same topic. Many in our forum have contributed.

And get off your intellectual high horse. I understand exactly where you're coming from, and I think it's a foul way of thinking.

Plus, he tends to argue it in noisy manner, with boldfacing, underling, exclamation marks, and horrid faces. Pure emotion and instability.
People who experience a big change in their religious views often find those changes pretty traumatic. The ones that seem to have it the worst are those who were fundamentalist/conservative/evangelical Christians who later became completely unbelievers. It seems understandable that such a person might want to share his story and see if others had similar experiences.

Personally, I think going from a conservative believer to an unbeliever is more about a change of a certain point of view they used to have. A rebellion against something.
