Obviously, Satan told the truth because G-d agreed with him...

Berei**** - Genesis - Chapter 3

5 For God knows that on the day that you eat thereof, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like angels, knowing good and evil."

22 Now the Lord God said, "Behold man has become like one of us, having the ability of knowing good and evil, and now, lest he stretch forth his hand and take also from the Tree of Life and eat and live forever."

As i put it in a post long, long ago.

It walks,
It talks,
it tells the truth"

Since God did not want Adam and Eve to eat from the tree of life...can it be assumed God did not want mankind to be immortal in the beginning?

We are going to have to wait until Satan writes his own book before we can reasonably begin to call him a liar. So far he has remained entirely silent.

They were immortal before they ate, eating changed that.

The "lest he" should be translated as "perhaps he will" because that is our goal.

That is what it says...”lest they eat from the tree of life and live forever.”...That pretty much states that they were created as mortals...

Where does it state that they were created immortal?...Why would G-d have to stop them from eating from the tee of life and living forever if they were already immortal?...
