How do you know the animals did not eat of that tree? None ate meat until after the flood.
I know this much, Jesus called Satan the "father of the lie" and he referred to him as the first murderer. I get it though. Jews and atheists don't believe Jesus was the Messiah. Jews because they were looking for restoration of independent rule and release from the yolk of the Roman Empire. Yes, I'm aware Bart's views on Jesus. Jesus himself said he's not the Almighty God (John 14:28), duh. Mathew 8:44 Jesus identifies Satan not only as the father of the lie but the first murderer. Seriously now, how does someone lying equate to murdering anyone, let alone the first human. In that scenario you are referring to, the only murderer was you know who. Although in reality, no one got murdered. Adam went on to live for 900 years. But hang on - doesn't that sound like a lie to you? You know full well that no one has ever lived passed 145 and they were old! They were old at 90.
And by the way, where did you get the idea that Satan was involved in the Adam and Eve story? Only a talking serpent was mentioned.
