To answer your question on New Age, Mormonism and Scientology can also be considered "New Age." Nonsense is nonsense no matter what age it is from.
New Age is a term applied to a range of spiritual or religious beliefs and practices that developed in Western nations during the 1970s.... From a historical perspective, the New Age phenomenon is rooted in the counterculture of the 1960s. (Source: The Almighty Wiki)

Mormonism was founded in in 1830 -- about 130-140 years too early to qualify.

what is your opinion of new age

Whatever gets you through the night that doesn't hurt anyone else. That applies to "old age" beliefs too.

Mormonism was founded 1800 years too late to be considered part of the original church.

Cell phone grammar excused.

And I am happy that your country supports religious freedom, and I hope it remains that way. I also hope that should attempts be made to impose a theocracy, you will fight it along with secular people. Because a theocracy may not allow you to follow your religion as you want to.

Which is exactly why many Christians deny that Mormons are true Christians. Because Christians generally declare that they, of course, are members of the one true church that dates back to Jesus himself. Mormons on the other hand consider themselves the one true church reborn. Because they say so.

As a non believer myself, I simply lump all believers together.
