That's exactly what I am thinking. They are going to begin taking over the Christian subforum as soon as they contaminate the main forum.
Yet another 'Atheists should sit down and shut up' post from a believer. It's not going to happen Oswald. We are going to continue to fight wilful ignorance and superstition and, as people become more educated and informed, Christianity is going to continue spiralling down in it's death-throes. Oh happy days!
There are dozens of Christian only forums on the Internet. They are not hard to find.
Of course.
I'm just not sure what the point of this R&S subforum is. Why even create a subforum which eventually dwindles away to nothing? It's like a depressing zombie world.

It doesn't seem to be dwindling away. Among the forums here, P&OC has the most posts, with over 10 million. Relationships has 2.4 million, and Other Topics (which includes Community Chat and Games) has 3 million. R&S has 1.8 million posts. It's essentially tied for 2nd place with Relationships for the busiest forum to moderate.
The point of this forum is to discuss issues related to Religion and Spirituality. It is not, and was never intended to be a Religious forum.

The point of the R/S forum was for the loosely affiliated and agnostic posters to discuss world religions and spirituality. The problem came when people needed platforms for personal world-views. The agnostic position is non-existent and philosophy had to be relocated because it allowed posters to much wiggle room.
If the R/S forum's atmosphere was not maintained with such hostility you would see/hear all types of theories, "Was Ezekial's wheel really a UFO?", "Is the sun electric?", "Was Eve black and Adam white?" etc. By maintaining a hostile environment it let's posters know those types of questions are not tolerated here. You can have any color car you'd like as long as it's black!

Seems like quite the hostile environment against Christianity. 90% of the posts are anti-Christian in nature.

It seems most of those post are political and socially driven...the elephant in the room seems to be thinly veiled... it's like debating politics, while not supposedly debating politics, all the while labeling religion as a catch-all.

Well, I guess it may feel that way to Christians, since most of you have a good portion of posters blocked because you are too sensitive.
