Here is a question for atheists on the Ask an Atheist thread.
Do you as an atheist personally engage in, or personally approve of, deliberately and intentionally insulting those whose views you disagree with, views different than your own views, because "they deserve to be ridiculed," and you feel it is "perfectly fine" to engage in that behavior because views you may disagree with, you "see as sheer stupidity."
If I told you I cooked a fish and then resurrected it, you would ridicule that idea. When religions make similar claims, then they deserve to be treated equally. That some religious people find that insulting says more about those religious people than the atheists pointing out how ridiculous some of the claims and arguments are.

No, it is not representative.
Also, you do not attack theists for attacking us simply because we post here.
If somebody spends over a decade and thousands of hours of time & effort railing against and criticizing something...you'd think they certainly must hate it (not just curious or dislike it), or they have serious issues.
Everybody start previewing your posts. I have tried to fix quote tags in more posts than I care to count. I can't fix them all because I can't tell what you were trying to post. When you preview your posts, look for extra quote tags. If you see any during your preview, fix them before submitting your post.
You can't assume the moderators know what you intended to post, and you can't assume we will see them before somebody quotes the post and further exacerbate the problem.
