Rounded up and shot? ABOSLUTELY NOT! As I said the Dr's life is a life...the sanctity of life is the fundamental principle.

Sent to the chair? According to the law/our government, they're not doing anything illegal.

I agree.

He was doing a legal activity. He did not deserve to be shot, or threatened with violence. He was not breaking the law. I believe however, that the law is wrong.

People do have the right to protest under the First Amendment, though.

Just read through the threads on this forum if you doubt me. It is disgusting.
Those that are "celebrating" this man's death behind closed doors are the ones doing so right in here as well. I do not agree with the way some Christians have acted over this. Those of us who have said we do not condone that act, are not acting any differently about it in our home.

If I was "happy" about it, I'd tell you so in here. I think it's a shame, and I feel so much for his family. Am I mourning him? No. Am I celebrating his death? No.

I can't imagine any rational person considering this man being hunted down in his church as anything but disgusting.

Pro-life? Tell that to Dr. Tiller's grieving family.

Then you work towards changing the law, just the way the law was enacted to begin with.

Granted people do have a right to protest under the First Amendment but it doesn't give you the right to the destruction of private property or to keep people from going to their jobs, regardless of whether you agree with those jobs are not and does not give you the right to make threats towards those individuals that are only doing their job.

We pro-lifers thoroughly condemn the murder of Tiller.
You can't speak for all pro-lifers as we have already read pro-lifer comments that state other wise.

My favorite (one of my favorite) quotes goes something like this: Your character is who you are when no one is watching.

If there are "Christians" who are celebrating behind closed doors...well then I guess they've forgotten that you can't hide from God.

"Scott Roeder, 51, of Merriam, Kan., whom authorities have described as a suspect in Sunday’s fatal shooting here of George Tiller, was once a subscriber and occasional contributor to a newsletter, Prayer and Action News, said Dave Leach, an anti-abortion activist from Des Moines who runs the newsletter. Mr. Leach said that he had met Mr. Roeder once, and that Mr. Roeder had described similar views to his own on abortion.

Commenting on Dr. Tiller’s death, Mr. Leach said, “To call this a crime is too simplistic.” He added, “There is Christian scripture that would support this."

They're not hiding from God -- they think that abortion doctor-killers are doing God's work.
Call them "Christians" all you like -- they still worship Christ and believe that He wants them to carry out murder in His name.

Good post.
The anti-abortion people are media savvy and understand public relations to their benefit. This "condemnation" is what they tell to the media. What do they tell their followers?
