Assuming it is a public street and you have no special right to the space, you are stuck with him.

oy vey... not this shtick again!!

It's not illegal, thus is permitted and allowed. Doesn't matter what your OPINION is on this topic, without a change in law it's irrelevant.

Don't tell me there is absolutely no other room on a public street to park their car(s) instead of on your grass. Sounds as if they are too lazy to walk a few more yards to get to the house. Just tell at least one of your kids to park in front of your house so this other person can't.

Your poll needs another option:

Proofread and correct all grammar and spelling mistakes.

Do C-D polls ever include enough options? Let's all agree that three will always appear:

Option 1. The pollster's opinion about whatever it is....the right answer.

Option 2. Someone else's opinion about whatever it is...the wrong answer and the one the pollster is using as an excuse to start an argument.

Option 3. An option no one in their right mind would select, but the pollster includes so as not to appear unreasonably close-minded.

It is a public street, so he and any one else can park there. You might check your city codes though. Where I live, you can not park within 5 feet of the edge of a private/public driveway (and you have to leave 2 feet between cars, not park within 30 feet of a crosswalk, blah, blah, blah).

I grew up in a house that we couldn't park on street in front of because it was a through road and was no parking. If driveway was full we had to park across the street, yes in front of other peoples houses. Luckily there was a side street to park on right across the street. Some had it worse on that street and had to go a block over because no side street as convenient.

kind of reminds me of the Shakespeare play-what was it?

oh yea.

Much Ado About Nothing.

On a public street, the public can park, assuming no parking limits.

I agree with Parnassia. Sounds like your kids don't want to walk.
