Good info, Mix!

Thanks for the post. Sometimes we think about leaving the area, we were getting fairly serious about it too, but it always comes down to the weather, Sacramento is really hard to beat for non-inclement weather, very mild winters, perfect spring and autumns, and tolerable comfortable summers in comparison to all the other places we could move to.

Don't,

the wind chill was not that cold in Sac, I was watching them everyday, the lowest I saw was 27F wind chill. But if you say so.....

There already is a lot of Ukrainians in Sacramento, and a lot of Russians, I'm sure the slavic community in Sacramento will be open to all refugees.

That's how cold the main airport was.
Sac executive was warmer by a couple of degrees. East sac might have been even warmer than that
Just telling you what NOAA said(edit: most cities use the main airport as the official/news temp)

Good. Hope there's room for them.

Weather here is not bad. I’ve traveled in winter to the Midwest and places like Idaho and Utah where it gets really cold with lots of snow and ice! I grew up in New England as a kid with fond memories of snow forts and sledding. I like not having to shovel ice and snow off my car in winter.
