Very nice.

I think I may have seen it in a car show. If not it, then one very simliar to it. Whether it is or not, either way, gorgeous car.

I looove this truck. Reminds of what I'd see on The Walton's as a kid.

My grandfather used to own a towing company. As kids we'd be drafted to help salvage loads that had fallen off Semi-Trucks that went off the road or down cliffs. At one time or another I have picked up wooden arrow shafts (minus heads and feathers,) shoes, tomatoes, and Matchbox cars.

Most random to me though was a flatbed truck that was carrying hundreds of boxes of toilet paper. About twenty boxes stayed on the truck, but the rest all broke open on a busy four lane highway during rush hour. It was the largest TP prank I'd ever seen.

Driving 1604 eastbound near Blanco yesterday:

F-250 (blue) with a crotch rocket bike (GSX-R, I think) in the bed. No straps. But, because the driver was a safety-conscious sort of guy, he had a buddy in the bed with the bike. His buddy was "holding" the bike down while _standing_ in the bed. He had one arm around the bike and the other hanging onto the back window sill.

I just shook my head and got around him as fast as I could.

TOTALLY true...driving home from work today I saw a CAR mounted on the MIDDLE of a HUGE boulder at the Y intersection leading into the 151-410 shopping center right next to the Starbucks.....honestly....with flashers going!!! How DID they do that. The car had that huge boulder DIRECTLY in the middle of the undercarriage!!!!!

Seriously, what is with this town and its lack of tie-down straps? They're not even expensive. Every other auto on the road here is a truck, so you'd think they'd be abundant, but nope.

Just a few weeks ago, I was merging on to 90 from 410. This was one day I didn't have the radio on or music playing. I'm exiting entering 90 from the 90 service road, look over my shoulder (not trusting my mirrors) when I hear this metallic noise - sounding like it's just beating against something. I turn to look straight ahead to see a dolley/handtruck which had fallen off of a 7-up truck up ahead.

I couldn't immediately move over because of a semi on my left, I hit the 4-ways and slowed down. Thankfully it stopped tumbling mostly in the right hand lane, but on the line between the 2 right hand lanes. The semi went by and I was able to snake around it. It was the closest call I've had in awhile.
