Has anyone joined the new Gold's Gym? I'm still on the fence about joining.

Which corner? I come form the east and work on Wiseman so anytime I want my Palapas fix I have to leave extra early so I can go to the one at Culebra and 1604.

Potranco/151 son. The sign was just put up last week in the same shopping center as Gold's. If it is anything like the one on Culebra that'd be nice. A nice patio for the Fall weather.

It's crowded..a lot of kids and not enough equipment. I heard that people had to park out on the frontage road Monday night...the crowd was so bad.
Went at 1PM yesterday and 9 AM (that's my normal time) today. Hopefully the crowd thins out once school starts. New is not always better either...especially when it's machines. That being said, since I'm a serious strength trainer, I'm a lil picky.
Only 3 flat benches for that amount of people...and only 2 squat racks. Like I said...hopefully it thins out...or I'm back to Babcock/410 location...much quieter.

This! I'm at a private gym, I like to get my bulk on and not be crowded by the jersey shore cast that hog all the benches and mirrors lol I just don't understand the people in this world.

I hear you. I go in, do my work , and get out. There were packs of 3-4 guys training together yesterday and today. Had to wait on a squat rack first off today...waited for a guy to finish straight bar curls..on the squat rack!! Arghh.
Metroflex is good...but just too far. Bandera Golds is a crowd-fest too. Babcock /410 location is solid..during the day. I don't ever train at night. Do my cardio at home early morning, fasted.
