What a freakin' let down. No substantial performance increase between 54-5 and 15-1. TW internet kinda blows.

There still will be the same DNS issues in getting to sites. Downloads are much faster though.

Not that much faster here. Your speed depends on how fast the internet is and yes TW has significant DNS issues.

Lol I wish it was the beginning of Maxx. I'd be a little less upset.

and that's why you point to another DNS server. OpenDNS and Google have the best two out there. Much faster than anything TWC has had (or will likely ever have)

I changed mine when I went to new speeds and haven't had a blip since. 300 down/20 up, constant.

Rearranged my current DNS servers (not TW btw) and still see no significant increase. I use to use Name Bench (by Google) to find the fastest servers BUT TW fixed that (they're redirecting server queries making Name Bench useless). I called them and asked them to stop that but they were like "we don't know what you're talking about". Liars! I now use DNS Bench by Steve Gibson with some success. TW hasn't figured out a way around his program yet......

Plus I just noticed a shipping charge for the new modem on
my TW billing.

If I had known this..I coulda picked it up & saved myself $9.99 .
Or at least that would've paid for hamburger, fries & coke, (maybe?)

youre mad because you got 3x speed increase on your internets? wat?

also i noticed pages loading faster when i had 8 bonded channels vs 4. you sure your dinosaur of a computer aint the bottleneck?

also, change your DNS servers to Level3s (209.244.0.3 and 209.244.0.4) or google's (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4)

i used to get a 'resolving host' issue in chrome til i changed to level3 with google as a backup.
