Feast tonight. Food was awesome, service was terrible. They came 45 minutes later to tell my husband they ran out of Ahi fish. Never came to refill our drinks. They were incredibly busy, guess it was an off night.

Don't be surprised when Jimmy John's employees call the police.

Authentic Creole Cajun Cuisine at Bernard's Creole Kitchen (http://bernardssa.com/bernards_creole_kitchen_daily_menu.html - broken link)

Someone told me that this local creole kitchen is really good. I have yet to try it but it is somewhat close to work.

It is in a really weird spot, on the campus of some school (Baptist University of the Américas) on the southside. Be sure you map the directions out before going there.

You should try Billy Bob's Burgers on Hildebrand and San Pedro. Excellent char-grilled burgers and rings to die for!

I finally had a chance to eat at this resturant. I had the fried catfish and my co-worker had pork chops. I liked everything and would come back. Like I said earlier, it is in a weird spot and is blended in with a cafeteria with the school.

Also, there was two men playing jazz music during the meal.

That's the grounds of the old "Mexican Baptist Bible Institute". Odd spot and so close to Furr's, Olive Garden, and Longhorn Steakhouse. Apparently they are displaced NOLA's from Katrina disaster.
