Chunky's is no longer there. That location needs an overhaul, at least for starts, on the exterior. It's overgrown and kinda hidden, the signs are not prominent. I haven't driven by there in a couple of weeks. I guess I'll drive by and see.

Well that doesn't surprise me one bit. Everything that goes in there never makes it. I think that location is masked by Rudy's and you kinda forget that it is there. I used to eat there when it was The Little Red Barn.

Good to know...have never heard of it but it certainly deserves a try based on your friends from work! On my list of things to do this month for sure!

Was leaving Panera Bread over on 151 and it appears that the Taco Bueno is closed. No cars in the lot and there were printed signs stuck all over the place. This certainly doesn't surprise me as that place was always dead. I kinda thought it was a front for some "other" operation.

OR...maybe everyone on the NW side was @ Furr's. That place looks straight crazy!

Totally SHOCKED it took this long for it to go belly up. From what I understand (and have NO idea if it is true or not) it was suppose to be owned by the Sea Island folks. Hard to believe they could get one thing SO right and another SO wrong....

Tiago's Cabo Grill is owned by the Sea Island people, Taco Bueno is a Dallas based chain and is basically a poor attempt at being a Taco Cabana,

Speaking of Tiago's Cabo Grill. How is it that they haven't teamed up with Tiago Splitter and used him in some ads? Perfect fit. lol

Thanks for the correction...I knew it was something in that area...thought it was Taco Bueno. GLAD to hear that they got them BOTH right...like both Tiago and Sea Island.
