I have eaten at Adelante and it was pretty good, that was about 6 months ago and they take care of their customers.

I am not a vegan, but the chicken tacos and the cheese nachos were good.

For those that remember Sills Snack Shack on Austin Hwy......Got a beanburger for lunch at their new food truck which was parked at Broadway and 410. Relatives of the original owner, Frank Sills, are operating this. It was pretty much the way I remember the original. Pretty good burger, but there's so many burger choices out there now......And yes, I know it's not a restaurant.

Looks like there's a Fuddruckers opening on Bandera /1604 by the HEB there. The Cheesy Jane's has closed down and they're moving in there.

So excited, I absolutely *adore* their burgers (mmm, elk!) and their chili cheese potato wedges are to die for.

Fuddruckers is always good, never had a problem with their food. Cheesy Janes is very overrated, went once and got a lukewarn burger and the manager was ticked off about that. I am never setting foot in another CJ.

In the North Central area, 54th Street Grill is scheduled to open Monday March 19th (281 & Stone Oak), and the Mooyah Burgers & Fries in the same shopping center appeared to be doing a "soft opening" today - still says "opening soon" but customers appeared to be coming and going. Not really restaurants, but BBQs Galore and Omaha Steaks are now open and coming soon, respectively, right next to the Mooyah.

Which Wich sandwich chain is now open at 281 & Bitters.

Not sure if this was mentioned already but Adobe Cafe on Evans just east of 281 is open - I thought it was very good except for the fact that they use American cheese. Sorry, but American cheese on Mexican food just ruins it.

Oh and they are building a new fast food restaurant next to the Goodwill at 281 just south of Stone Oak - I have heard rumors that it is a Popeyes chicken and also that they will be building a Carl's Jr next to it. Just rumors, but passing them on for those interested.

Great food! Great place to watch a game too. We were thrilled when they opened here having been huge fans of them in Georgia.
