Bourbon Street does a great job, but they normally dish out too much food.

Best thing about Umai Mi is the name. It is stereotypical Dady. I have not been, but have heard great things about their dim sum. The folks that I know didn't mind the music and they are 50+.

Dim sum was very good, most of their dinner selections get represented (none of the curries though) so it's a nice way to sample their menu. According to our server, the hip-hop soundtrack is a nighttime feature, nice reggae tunes playing today.

Don't know if this has been posted yet, but they are opening up another 54th Street Grill right next to Bob's Steakhouse.

Also, did anybody else know that the Old San Francisco Steakhouse is now closed to the public? It's only available for private functions catered by the caterer that bought the property. Its sad, when I was a kid, that's where we always went for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, etc.

San Francisco's website clearly states that. It was fun but I was worried about the girl in the swing crashing down and the health risks of the big cheese block.

Wow, I thought I was the only one that had issues with that huge hunk of cheese being handled by lots of people!

I went to SF steakhouse once in the last 10 years and there was plenty of reasons it closed. Mainly, I would say the food was stuck in the quality expectations of the 1980's.
