Evidently Jason's Deli will be moving into the old Ruby Tuesday space at Alamo Ranch. That will be GREAT! LOVE their salad bar!

Looks to be a goner.

No answer to the phone, lights out, missing from the main website list of stores...

and, as bad luck would have it, I bought a Groupon discount for it a couple days ago.
I stopped by yesterday on the way home from my wife parents. Apparently the location is only temporarily closed. There was a sign on the door saying the are transferring to new owners and will be open again shortly

The Carino's at 1604 and Bandera closed it's doors. I remember when there used to be an hour wait or longer on a Friday night. Before it closed you could walk right in. Not much of a surprise that this was coming.

I hope Macaroni Grills aren't next. They've gotten better again since before. There's never a wait anymore when we go so hopefully that's not a bad sign. Is Carrabbas still doing good? That's been SA's only one forever. I guess too many people are at Olive Garden. Honestly, it's not all that .Better tasting food at Carinos, macaroni grill, and Zios to name a few over Olive Garden.

How is theTiu Steppe's doing over there? We have a new one at Bulverde and 1604 and it's quite busy, but there is a very captive audience over here. There's not a lot to choose from along that stretch of 1604. El Chapparell at Redland and 1604 is gross. I'm not sure why people like it. Haven't tried the Bourbon Street Kitchen yet. ( I think that's the name)

Even Fazoli's is better than Olive Garden for a much better price. Oh how I miss Fazoli's.

In & Out

Fries were a 2 out of 5
Burger was a 2 out of 5 (did not do animal style because I do not like the animal sauce)
Coke was a 5 out of 5

I have no desire to go back.

I think the fries are terrible too. I personally like the burgers.

What were you comparing the burgers to/ fastish food burger you would give a 4 or 5 to?
