Looks to be a goner.

No answer to the phone, lights out, missing from the main website list of stores...

and, as bad luck would have it, I bought a Groupon discount for it a couple days ago.
The rent must be very high in that area.

We have had very good luck with Groupon refunding money for restaurants going belly up - just give them a call. They verify the status and give you your money back.

A lot of restaurants seem to survive up there in the DFW area that don't make it here such as Taco Bueno for comparison.
I know and I hate that. It's like they get everything and while this or that closes here, it stays in Dallas. Is it culture or what's the deal??

Maybe because taco Bueno is a joke and from Oklahoma, let Dallas have it.

That is your personal preference. I liked Taco Bueno.

It helps to do some research before making false claims too. Taco Bueno was founded in Texas and the headquarters are still in Texas.

It does feel like that and I think it is because DFW feels more diverse to me (my opinion). My mother is now living in Ft. Worth area and whenever I visit her, I see so many restaurants that I remember San Antonio having in the past.

Sure, it'll bring in the tourists, but it's such pedestrian food. There are already a ton of other places to get this kind of grub in the area, all without having to suffer through Jimmy Buffet music.
