Millions of prolife atheists are in agreement with you. Not about God, but definitely about the dark times coming.

And here, all this time, I thought that they just didn't know any better.

Maybe because abortion is not a top issue for them, and they know that it will be difficult to overturn Roe v. Wade. I'm pro-life, but I mostly end up voting for pro-choice candidates because I agree with them on most other issues. Unless the opponent is awful, I'm not going to vote for someone who only agrees with me on one issue.

They care more about immigration or welfare.

^^THIS!^^

I used to vote primarily Republican, but they've abandoned most of their principles (what happened to "compassionate conservatism"?), and they've ignored all but one branch of Christianity (Presbyterians or other moderates aren't "true Christians" it seems). I find myself now voting for more Democrats.

We should be voting for the best overall candidate, not one hanging their hat on a singular issue that has been exploited for political purposes. (and, yes, Democrats sometimes do the same thing with other issues)

We should just elect robots. They all vote their party line once elected.

Roe vs. Wade is an untouchable issue right now.

I will, just like you keep thinking Trump will win 2020.

Why do evangelists claim to be the party of family values yet support (worship?) a president who has five children with three wives and cheated on all of them, including sleeping with a porn star and a Playboy bunny (and bribing them to keep quiet) shortly after his third wife gave birth to his youngest son. How’s that for a contradiction?
