2. Where does the US rank in regards to overall health of its citizens compared to Universal Healthcare countries?
3. Where does the US rank in regards to "clinical outcomes" versus countries with Universal Healthcare?
4. Where does the US rank in regards to "medical costs" compared to Universal Healthcare?
5. Are people happier overall in other countries with Universal Healthcare?
6. Are people in other countries with socialized medicine happy to pay more in taxes to pay for socialized medicine and for other beneficial social programs?

What works - and doesn't work - in other countries is of no concern to us. We have our own unique laws, lots of cultural diversity, and an economy and population that are vastly different than those of countries with universal healthcare.

If universal healthcare is so great, why do those who support it stay here instead of moving to countries where universal healthcare is in force?

In most cases its because they cannot afford to.

Between moving costs...
Between actually finding a job...

You make it sound like John Doe down the street can just pack up tomorrow and move to another country and be better off in no time...

Say WHAT?!?

So if one likes something, and it's not available in the US, but is somewhere else, you're supposed to just MOVE?

If you like something, why not work to change it here, instead of moving? What if the colonists, back in 1775, had just decided to MOVE somewhere else instead of working for what they wanted HERE?

Your statement may be the single most ridiculous thing I've read on the Internet today. You win!

Illegals barge in here because things aren't available in their own country. The same people who support universal health care seem to be the same ones who support open borders.

Why aren't they expected to work for change in their country?

So yeah, if you are consistent in your beliefs and you want universal health care, move to where it is. See what country will allow you to just waltz on in.

Be careful what you wish for, you might get an American brain-drain...

Bringing in a bunch of dependent, uneducated, unvaccinated people isn't a brain drain? Net result is more mouths incapable of or unwilling to feed themselves.

Unvaccinated wtf? Anyway this country was built on slave and minimum wage labor and poverty if you don't like it then you're in the wrong place.

With some of the statements you have made on some of these issues, it makes me wonder if you are actually in favor of what you are claiming to be against but just trolling with incredible statements like this (and ones you have made in the past) to make the side you are claiming to be supportive off seem outrageous.

This is a common statement and a common argument. Let me ask you something (well a few things):

Should a spouse just leave or "move" from a struggling marriage or should they both withhold their vows, get help to work to improve their relationship?

Should a mayor of a town or city just quit their job and "move" to another city when they see there is a broken system that needs fixing with some work?

Should the CEO of a company just quit or "move" to another company when they see there could be much improvement within the company with some work and changes?

If you can answer these questions truthfully and honestly, you will see why I don't understand the whole "well if you don't like it then move" argument.

Nope. Born and raised here and I'm not going anywhere.
