I'm moving to San Antonio in 4 weeks and I cannot wait!!! It would be even more exciting if there was a local NFL team! Hopefully we will at some point down the road!

I neither support an NFL team for SA, nor do I support ANOTHER thread about a NFL team for San Antonio. This old, tired subject has been beaten to death and can now join the ranks of the 'Disney in San Antonio?' and 'IKEA coming?' threads.

RIP.

I know I'm a little late to this party, but I'll pipe in anyway...

Gov. Good Hair has been known to say a lot of ridiculous things that get him in hot water people. Why should this statement be any different.

Let's face it: He's the Governor who cried stupid. If Ann Richards were still alive, I'm sure she'd have a verbal field day with his antics. The last thing Perry needs to do is stick his opinion into whether San Antonio needs an NFL team.

Remember the last time we let a crooked politico lead us into a rash decision? We got a little baby called The Alamodome. That worked out REAL well

I agree with a previous poster, support the Roadrunner Football team and prove that this town can get behind something other than the spurs. Thats the only way we are going to get the attention of a team looking to relocate.

The city already proved it can support an NFL team when the Saints were in town. The Alamodome may not be the best, but its still better than some of the stadiums that are found in existing NFL cities (Buffalo or Oakland).

No, I would not support an NFL team and they are not coming anyway. I won''t even go to a spurs game unless the occastion meets three criteria. #1 I have nothing better to do. #2 They are great seats. #3 The tickets are free with free parking. If I ever get bored enough to watch a football game, I'll watch it on TV. Sports franchises are a ripoff for the fans that go to the games and also for the taxpayers that wind up shelling out money for something they don't care anything about and do not benefit from. NFL: Please stay away, taxes are high enough as it is.
