I’m pretty sure it meant that they’ll start enforcing it as of midnight Friday. I’ve been in lines at stores keep my six feet away while the guy behind me is 2 feet away. I really don’t care, but it’s practiced by about half the people out there.

So if you want to be close to a total stranger, better get out there now.

Are all of the carwash businesses closed? Crystal Clean is closed and Soapy Joe's also

Finally, some information that we can really use:

COVID-19 by zip code in San Diego County:

COVID-19 Thread San Diego-zips-ranked.jpg

I ranked the top 20 zip codes with confirmed cases from highest to lowest. Interesting, Hillcrest/Mission Hills has the most cases but is the 50th largest zip code in the county. La Jolla is #2.

Thank you for the spreadsheet. I am not surprised by those numbers. Tourists love Balboa Park and La Jolla is very scenic. I wonder how San Ysidro, where the outlet mall is located will fare.
Now that is a giant petri dish right there. The zip code is 92173 for San Ysidro.

Isn't there another outlet mall in North County as well?

If I could, I would post the entire spreadsheet that I did up with the link you provided but I can't. I joined it with some other zip code data I had handy.

San Ysidro only has 5 cases according to the link you provided, they are down towards the bottom.

Perfect timing

Just curious - what is meant by 'some information that we can really use'?

Hopefully not fear mongering on social media - cuz we have enough of that already.

I agree with this. I am shocked that now I need to watch out for "people' on top of this virus. If I see someone coming I cross the street. The other day a heavy panting runner passed very close to me WHY ? She had the ENTIRE street yet she had to whisk by me.

Competing with these type of people can be defeating by itself.

Well here we go! My neighbor across the street has telltale signs of COVID-19. A mask and a very prominent cough.

The affluence of Hillcrest and La Jolla could also mean that more people are getting tested from those areas. You probably have to be in the hospital in San Ysidro to be confirmed to have COVID-19.
